At Daimler Truck, a globally active group, we understand the importance of staying ahead in today's volatile business landscape. We are facing an increasingly insecure world in which terrorism, war, civil unrest, crime, natural disasters, and political crises affect us. To protect our company and employees worldwide, we are looking for motivated colleagues to join our Corporate Security Situation Response and Intelligence team, located in Prague. The Situation Response and Intelligence team serves as the central hub for monitoring the global security situation, responding to, and reporting about significant security incidents or crises and ensuring the security of our international business travelers and assignees. To complement our small team, we are looking for someone with a wide range of skills and interests, as well as a strong hands-on mentality.
Responsibilities:
o Identify and evaluate business risks (operational, reputational, and cybersecurity) and develop mitigation strategies.
o Monitor geopolitical, industry, and emerging risks (e.g., supply chain or climate risks) to improve organizational preparedness.
o Collect and analyze structured/unstructured data on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and risks using advanced data analytics techniques.
o Develop dashboards, KRIs, KPIs, and reports to provide actionable insights for risk assessment and decision-making.
o Implement and enhance security tools, such as incident data lakes and AI-enabled MS Power Platform applications.
o Facilitate integration of external applications into the IT ecosystem, including overseeing processes like SSO and cloud risk assessments.
o Provide crisis and incident support; communicate insights to corporate stakeholders and regional security offices.
o Manage global projects, develop risk management frameworks, and enhance processes in areas like incident management and travel security.
o Oversee and coordinate service providers, manage procurement processes, and annually review security ratings and recommendations.
o Report on security and business continuity-related incidents and provide support in the event of crises and incidents
Requirements:
Professional qualifications:
o Master degree or equivalent
o Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in risk management or corporate security or equivalent experience in government, or security forces
o Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform (PowerAutomate, PowerBI)
o Experience with other cloud platforms and AI applications desirable
o Fluent in English and German
o Knowledge and practical experience in project management and the design of processes desirable
