Lighting Designer

For an international lighting group and a leading supplier of innovative lighting solutions, lighting components and associated services, we are looking for a Lighting Designer.

You will have an important role in shaping the visual environment through creative and functional lighting solutions. You will collaborate closely with both internal teams and clients while contributing to the realization of projects with the aim to grow business and promote our innovative lighting solutions.

• Close collaboration with the sales team while providing advice on projects, offering the high level of lighting design and supporting projects from concept stage to delivery.
• Understanding specifications and requirements of a project from technical and commercial perspective by consultation and question project briefs.
• Creating designs and preparing the project for the next stage by producing quantity schedules, technical calculations, CAD drawings, information packs and client presentations.
• Providing advice on standards, products, lighting technology and product placement internally as well as externally.
• Understanding the big picture of a project and providing support in achieving sales targets.
