GL Accountant

We are currently seeking a GL ACCOUNTANT to join our Prague team at a leading global analytics company specializing in technology market research, data-level consulting services, and providing timely insights worldwide.

Perform accounting and reporting for several companies in the Western Europe region (5 to 20+ staff)
Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and subledgers (sales, purchase, and assets) and close them on time
Collaborate on the preparation and filing of tax reports for multiple companies/countries (corporate, value-added, payroll, and other taxes)
Ensure timely delivery of reports for month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare all supporting materials for the preparation of individual financial statements by local tax advisors
Prepare group consolidated reports (yearly US group pack, specific quarterly schedules) for responsible countries
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Interface with external/internal group accountants and tax advisors
Support external and internal audits by providing documentation and explanations

Požadujeme

High school/University degree or equivalent Accounting certification
Very good command of English for daily communication - both written and spoken
Good knowledge and experience with US GAAP and IFRS
Working knowledge of accounting software, experience with MS Dynamics is a plus
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and data entry
Team player with excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail
Experience in process transitions is a plus
